Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Analyst in the United States to perform basic analysis, back business conclusions with data, and support BI initiatives. You will work within the Digital & Technology/Data Science & Analytics function to transform data into actionable insights.

The role requires SQL, Python, data visualization, ETL, and database management experience, with 1–4 years of relevant work. A bachelor's degree is required and a discretionary bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with up to 1–4 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems.
• Strong programming skills, with experience in Python, for data analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and scripts to pull and curate data from multiple sources.
• Develop dashboards and assets including scripts, tables, workflows.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
• Define data requirements and gather information using statistics.
• Use Python for planning models and extracting insights.
• Develop data models, automation systems, and reporting metrics.
• Create ad-hoc reports from existing data sources.
• Present a data story to a business line.
• Ensure quality and integrity of data sources.
• Collaborate with the agile team to improve processes.
