About the Role

Our client is seeking a SQL Developer / BI Developer to support business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across key operational teams. This role will focus heavily on SQL development, Power BI dashboarding, database reporting, and translating business requirements into effective data and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Key Highlights:
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and report data from enterprise databases.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting and system solutions.
• Analyze existing processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop system specifications, data models, reports, queries, and supporting documentation.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of reporting and data-related issues.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to implement business intelligence solutions.
• Lead or support small to mid-sized projects and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, systems analysis, or related work.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL development and database querying experience.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirements-gathering, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Pay range and compensation package

• $50hr - $62hr - W2
