  • Familiarity with programming (R) for automation, GitHub, and higher-ed data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ad hoc queries to support quick-turnaround analytics requests, performing data discovery, schema analysis, and multi-table joins for dashboard development.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau and SQL to communicate findings and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct data profiling and anomaly detection to identify data quality issues and generate recommendations for data governance initiatives.
  • Document data definitions, locations, and relationships for the data catalog, supporting data governance and business analysis efforts.
  • Apply statistical methods, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights from diverse data sources.
  • Develop slide decks and presentations to communicate data governance guidance and analytical findings to clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes and applications.

The specialist will be responsible for transforming complex, messy data into clear insights that support key decisions in enrollment, scheduling, and student success. We are looking for a creative thinker who is detail-oriented, project focused, and has the proven expertise to clean, analyze, and visualize data that drives meaningful outcomes for stakeholders.

This position is ideal for the individual who is energized by data-driven problem solving and seeking a career in analytics, data governance, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience across data analytics disciplines and can easily adapt to different client expectations and requirements.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
