Job summary

Wize Solutions in Sandy, UT is hiring a Data Analyst to research AI tools, prototype solutions, and develop data pipelines. You will consolidate data from Acumatica and other systems, build dashboards, and create self-service views for Operations, Sales, and Leadership.

You’ll own data quality, documentation, and lightweight applications, working closely with the CTO on R&D projects and helping reduce manual reporting across the company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL, or ability to learn quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to write and debug code or scripts in at least one language such as Python.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and data cleaning abilities.
• Experience with Git or willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging AI tools and prototype them against real problems in Operations, Sales, and Leadership.
• Consolidate data from Acumatica and other systems into reporting-ready datasets using SQL, APIs, and data movement methods.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for visibility into project, schedule, material, and financial performance.
• Document metric and data definitions to ensure repeatable, reconciled reporting.
• Investigate data quality issues and propose fixes.
• Develop AI-assisted tools and automations to reduce manual reporting.
• Work with CT O on special R&D projects and present findings.
