Job summary

Makino is seeking an AMS Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and transform operational, financial, and customer data into actionable business intelligence. You will develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support strategic decisions and improve service, project execution, and revenue growth.

The role collaborates with Aftermarket leadership to identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analytical experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability work within multiple disciplines in MM and MT.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports for the Aftermarket organization.
• Automate recurring reports and present findings to leadership.
• Analyze proposal activity, project execution, revenue, gross margin, backlog, and resource utilization.
• Analyze project data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Measure proposal turnaround times and quote conversion; support forecasting.
• Monitor revenue, gross margin, backlog, and financial performance; develop forecasting models.
