Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science, or finance.
• 5+ years of computer and application software experience, including data analysis, spreadsheets, and database management (healthcare setting preferred).
• At least 1 year performing data analytics using healthcare data sets.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; bicultural preferred.
• Active Florida Driver License.

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to support business intelligence, reporting, and data warehouse operations on-site in Winter Haven, FL.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and perform analysis using statistical techniques to produce ongoing reports
• Use software tools to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations
• Troubleshoot and improve performance of data warehouse applications
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data systems and data warehouses
• Build dashboards from data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Conduct complex data mining and data extraction activities
• Partner with business users and clinical BI tools to extract, compile, organize, and present analytics outputs
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather reporting and dashboard requirements
• Research best practices and support solutions and recommendations for current business operations
• Create reports that support organizational decision-making
• Develop, evaluate, recommend, and implement processes and procedures
• Implement or develop systems and reports to capture business operation information
• Work closely with leadership to support organizational initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of computer and application software experience, including data analysis, spreadsheets, and database management (healthcare setting preferred)
• At least 1 year performing data analytics using healthcare data sets
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to intervene and promote reconciliation, compromise, and positive outcomes in difficult interactions
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information
• SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Snowflake skills, with the ability to learn other analytics tools
• Experience creating and maintaining automated data workflows and business processes using Python, SQL, APIs, Power Automate, RPA, or similar tools
• Statistics experience and familiarity with statistical packages for dataset analysis (e.g., Excel, SQL Server)
• SQL proficiency for data science analytics tool sets
• Power BI proficiency for data visualization
• Ability to coordinate with development teams to determine application requirements
• Scalable coding experience using Python (preferred) or R
• Computer and application software knowledge including data analysis, spreadsheets, and database management
• Familiarity with healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of data processing procedures, data flow, and records maintenance, including operating systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen, preferably in healthcare
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; bicultural preferred
• Active Florida Driver License
