Job summary

The role emphasizes Power BI, SQL, and MES, with responsibilities including data cleansing, KPI reporting, and presenting findings to drive operational improvements. This is a 36-month contract requiring onsite work in Waukegan, IL.

Qualifications

• SQL – ability to write queries and analyze data.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Data cleansing, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• KPI/dashboard development and reporting.
• Experience combining data from multiple systems/sources.
• Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data
• Clean, transform, validate, and reconcile large datasets
• Identify trends, performance gaps, and root causes
• Automate recurring reporting and improve existing dashboards
• Translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions

Position: Data Analyst – Power BI & SQL & MES

Duration: 36-Month Contract

Local candidates are preferred, must be onsite.

I am looking for a hands-on Data Analyst with 10+ years U.S. professional experience to develop dashboards, analyze operational data, and provide actionable insights to business and operations leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• SQL – ability to write queries and analyze data
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Data cleansing, transformation, validation, and analysis
• KPI/dashboard development and reporting
• Experience combining data from multiple systems/sources
• Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills
• Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Waukegan, IL
