Job description

We’re hiring a Product Data Analyst to help shape product decisions for a consumer-facing mobile platform used by millions. Approximately 70% of your time will focus on designing, executing, analyzing, and improving A/B tests alongside Product. The remaining 30% will center on product analytics, including ownership of Mixpanel, event tracking, dashboards, QA, and self-service reporting. This is not a traditional, highly technical Data Scientist position. We’re looking for a product-minded analyst or an analytically strong product professional who can pair sound analytical judgment with excellent communication and stakeholder management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to identify product opportunities, define success metrics, and turn business questions into measurable experiments.
  • Design and execute A/B tests, including hypothesis development, experiment setup, audience definition, metric selection, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Evaluate experiment results using rigorous analytical methods; clearly communicate findings, tradeoffs, limitations, and next steps to product stakeholders.
  • Help establish and improve experimentation standards, including test design, measurement frameworks, documentation, and post-test learnings.
  • Own and enhance the Mixpanel analytics environment, ensuring teams can confidently access product performance insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reporting, and self-service analytics resources for Product and cross-functional teams.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 2–4 years of experience in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar analytics role supporting digital products.
  • Strong hands-on A/B testing experience, from experimental design and metric selection through analysis, interpretation, and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience using Mixpanel or Amplitude for product analytics, behavioral analysis, and dashboard development.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to independently query and analyze product data.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Product Managers and influencing product decisions through data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience analyzing mobile app products and mobile user behavior.
  • Background in a high-experimentation environment, such as consumer technology, growth, marketplaces, subscription products, gaming, or mobile applications.
