Hybrid 3 days onsite in McLean, VA or Richmond, VA

Our client seeks a Data Analyst to support a data product team building raw data assets and data controls for AML use cases. The role will focus on data mapping, data profiling, querying, and analysis across Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS, collaborating with data analysts, engineers, and product team members. The interview will be a 30-minute discussion of background and prior projects.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Build and implement data controls for AML-focused data products.


• Perform data mapping and data profiling to ensure data quality and usability.


• Query and analyze datasets using Python and SQL.


• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and product team members.


• Support Discover integration and related data product initiatives.

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Python and SQL.


• At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS products.


• At least 3 years of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.


• Preferred: 1+ years with data governance and data quality management concepts.


• Preferred: 1+ years working with Agile development methodologies.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.


• Preferred: Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
