ICONMA is seeking a Data Analyst for a client in Richmond, VA / McLean, VA. The role focuses on SQL and Python to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights.

You will develop advanced SQL queries, support Python-based automation, and work with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings. The ideal candidate has strong SQL and Python skills, experience with Snowflake and AWS, and familiarity with Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Tableau is a plus.

Our Client, a Financial company, is looking for a Data Analyst for their Richmond, VA/ McLean, VA location.

Responsibilities:

• Strong focus on SQL and Python, with SQL being the highest priority.
• Analyze large and complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
• Build/support Python-based automation and data processing.
• Support data validation, quality checks, troubleshooting, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings.

Requirements:

• Prior client Experience: Preferred
• Top Skills - Must Have: SQL, Python
• Additional Technical Skills: Snowflake, AWS
• Preferred Skills: Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Tableau, data migration experience; client EMP and On Stream Data
• Soft Skills: Strong communication/presentation skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, comfortable with changing priorities
