Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently hiring for a Data Analyst to join our Fed NSA team.

This is a remote opportunity.

The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex data to help solve business problems and provide detailed business insights to management.

They will design reports based on requestor requirements in support of key business strategies and be responsible for defining data requirements, gathering and validating data, applying judgment, and highlighting areas of note to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Database administration, data consolidation, data analysis, and management reporting.
2. Design database reports based on requestor requirements to support key business strategies.
3. Perform queries, data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to provide reporting solutions.
4. Monitor customer usage, upgrades, reporting tools, queries, and ensure security.
5. Create user guides and train users on database reports.
6. Experience with Salesforce: developing reports, dashboards, and Data Loader.
7. Define data requirements, gather and validate data, analyze, and present outputs.
8. Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts in operational settings.
9. Proficient use of MS Excel for data organization, analysis, and presentation.
10. Develop visualization objects in Excel or other BI tools.
11. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and coordinate across departments.
13. Work independently and proactively seek requirements.
14. Ensure reports are error-free before delivery.
15. Generate routine reports and respond to ad hoc requests.
16. Complete other duties as assigned.
17. Pass extensive background check and identity verification within 90 days of onboarding.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Availability to work between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday.
• Experience in reporting/business intelligence roles.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with the Federal No-Surprises Act (NSA) IDR process.
• Experience with SQL or SAS query results aggregation.
• Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word mail merge.
• Experience with RPA processes and virtual desktops.
• Experience with Genesys Call Center Software.

Maximus provides equipment for remote work. Home office requirements include high-speed internet, private workspace, and residing in the Continental US.
