Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Data Intelligence - Engineer, Data Associate to join our Columbia, MD team. You will partner with senior team members to aggregate and analyze data sets, develop reports and dashboards, and create ETL solutions ensuring data quality and reliable loading processes.

The role requires experience with provider data, claims platforms, Salesforce and Facets, and strong SQL skills. Remote collaboration with teams is preferred and the position is a 12-month assignment with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience with provider data, claims platforms, Salesforce and Facets is preferred.
• Strong SQL querying and ETL development experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate existing data routines; assist with data transformation, manipulation, and presentation to users.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, BI Developers, Infrastructure Architects, and business users to design data models and ETL processes.
• Support Software Engineering with data analysis and validation using SQL.
• Write and execute ETL code, mainly complex SQL stored procedures, with ability to leverage other technologies.
• Partner with senior team members on design, configuration and implementation of Data Integration Framework.

Purpose

• Understands data needs and advise company on technological resources. Partners with senior level team members to aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insight. Develop reports, dashboards, and tools for business-users. Develop technical solutions to improve access to data and data usage. Develops and executes ETL code and ensures that the data loading processes are reliable and data quality remains high.
• Must have previous Provider data experience working with leadership on provider data issues, accuracy, and provider data interactions with claims and claims platforms. Knowledge of Salesforce and Facets is required.
• Previous demonstrable experience with reporting to leadership and working remotely with teams is preferred.

Essential Functions

• 30% Analyzes and validates existing routines and communicates impacts. Assists with data transformation, manipulation, and presentation to users.
• 20% Works with Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Developers, Infrastructure Architects, and key business users to review, design, and develop data models and ETL processes.
• 20% Supports the Software Engineering team with data analysis and validation with extensive SQL queries.
• 15% Writes and executes ETL code, primarily complex SQL stored procedures, but with a strong ability to leverage other technologies.
• 15% Partner with senior team members on the design, configuration and implementation of Data Integration Framework.
