Job Description
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to support a critical ERP transformation and SAP implementation initiative. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, cleansing, validating, and preparing data for migration from a legacy ERP system into SAP. Because data quality can make or break the success of an ERP implementation, this person will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of manufacturing and operational data throughout the migration process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, data modeling, and data governance principles, along with advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail. This resource will work closely with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to evaluate existing data structures, map legacy data to SAP requirements, and support data conversion, validation, and verification testing activities.
Experience working with manufacturing data is highly desirable, particularly with Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, material master data, and other production-related information. The successful candidate will be comfortable identifying data quality issues, resolving discrepancies, documenting business rules, and supporting cutover activities to ensure a seamless transition into SAP. While SAP experience is preferred, candidates with strong ERP implementation or migration experience and a solid understanding of enterprise data management will also be considered.
In addition to technical capabilities, this role requires strong communication and project coordination skills. The ideal candidate can effectively partner with stakeholders across the business, manage competing priorities, and contribute to the overall success of a large-scale ERP transformation effort.
