Job summary

HCL Tech is seeking a Data & AI Architect to advance innovation in North America. You will design, present, and close complex deals, acting as a trusted advisor to senior CXOs and driving adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data & AI solutions.

Role requires on-site engagement across US offices, including Santa Clara, with responsibilities spanning pre-sales, solution design, and customer workshops. Strong executive communication and GCP certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Data & AI stack (Vertex AI, BigQuery).
• Experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, and supporting sales teams to achieve targets.

• GTM Positioning & Sales Support: Work with Sales teams to identify, qualify, and close high-value Data & AI opportunities. Design scalable, secure solutions using Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow and Looker.
• Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead client workshops, craft proposals, and deliver technical presentations (PoCs/PoVs). Build industry-specific AI solutions to drive co-sell motions.
• Define solutions at pre-sales stage and remain engaged in implementation to scale execution.

Job Summary

Premier Global Systems Integrator (GSI) is seeking a seasoned On-site Data & AI Architect in North America. This role bridges technical expertise and strategic sales, driving adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data & AI solutions. You will design, present, and close complex deals, serving as a trusted advisor to senior CXOs.

Skill Requirements

GCP Expertise: Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Data & AI stack (Vertex AI, Big Query). GTM Expertise: Proven experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, and supporting sales teams to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. GTM Positioning & Sales Support: Work with Sales teams to identify, qualify, and close high-value Data & AI opportunities. Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure solutions utilizing Vertex AI, Big Query, Dataflow, and Looker.

Experience

8-10+ years in data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud architecture. (E4), 10-15 (E5), 15+ (E6)

Communication: Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Certifications Google Cloud - Professional Data Engineer / Professional Machine Learning Engineer

Pay Range Minimum: $173,000/Annum

Pay Range Maximum: $255,000/Annum

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
