Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to enable agile delivery for data engineering, analytics, and BI initiatives. You will collaborate with Data Product Owners, data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and business stakeholders to drive data products and platforms end-to-end.

The role requires facilitating ceremonies, maintaining healthy backlogs, removing impediments, tracking metrics, coaching teams, and coordinating releases to meet data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Scrum Master or Agile leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile delivery.
• Experience supporting data, analytics, engineering, or technology-focused teams.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, data quality management, reporting, and analytics lifecycles.
• Proven experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for one or more data-focused teams.
• Partner with Data Product Owners to manage and prioritize data pipelines and analytics initiatives.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments across engineering, product, platform, and business teams.
• Track and communicate Agile delivery metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and servant leadership to foster a safe, collaborative environment.
• Coordinate releases and support delivery planning for data products with governance and quality in mind.
• Manage data-related delivery risks including schema changes and dependencies across teams.
