Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Data Administrator on the Procurement Desk in Oregon to maintain data structures supporting our supply chain, and to provide daily support to partners and suppliers on device entries, driving improvements in partner experience and operational excellence.

Required are 2+ years of managing large data sets with strong data integrity, excellent internal customer support, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintaining large volumes of data with strong data integrity.
• Excellent internal customer support and teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of relational databases and enterprise-scale application interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain statistics in databases and coordinate routine and emergency data backups.
• Manage data exchange requests and update associated spreadsheets or templates.
• Keep history documents and trouble logs for monthly device downloads and analyze trends.
• Communicate schedule and data issues with the control team.
• Independently protect data integrity using branch strategies.
• Perform system audits to ensure shared applications are accurate.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, identify root causes, and monitor resolution.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on data‑related projects and initiatives.
• Represent data needs of the business unit and educate on data availability.
• Lead cross‑functional groups to solve technical problems and improve processes.
