Acxiom is seeking a Remote Data Acquisition Support Specialist to coordinate technical intake and licensing processes for third-party data assets. • 2–4 years in data acquisition, vendor management, data governance, or product support roles within a data-driven organization.
• Hands-on experience with data products, licensing models, and identity/data integration solutions.
• Comfort navigating data structures, APIs, and file delivery methods (SFTP, cloud storage, direct feeds).
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex licensing agreements, contract terms, and usage metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate data availability, licensing constraints, and business impacts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical intake prerequisites for new data providers with the Data Ingestion team.
• Maintain technical documentation for data feeds, including schema mappings and ingestion pipeline notes.
• Troubleshoot delivery failures, format anomalies, or feed interruptions with data ingestion teams.
• Track lifecycle of data acquisition agreements (NDAs, Data License Agreements, Order Forms, Amendments) from initiation to execution.
• Audit and log contractual parameters (permitted use cases, restrictions, redistribution rights, renewal dates, termination conditions).
• Log and verify Provider Data Sheets, DPIAs, and security questionnaires prior to feed activation.
• Maintain central Salesforce records for provider status, feed types, renewal cadences, and key contacts.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, including delivery timeliness and data quality standards.
• Reconcile vendor usage, data volume metrics, and invoice details with procurement and finance.

The Data Acquisition Support Specialist coordinates the technical intake, legal compliance tracking, and administrative workflows necessary to acquire and integrate third-party data assets. This role bridges the gap between commercial partnership managers, technical integration teams, and legal/procurement stakeholders to ensure seamless data onboarding, strict adherence to licensing terms, and meticulous record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical intake prerequisites for new data providers in conjunction with our Data Ingestion team
• Maintain technical documentation for data feeds, including schema mappings, data dictionaries, updates/delta schedules, and ingestion pipeline notes.
• Partner with data ingestion teams to troubleshoot delivery failures, format anomalies, or feed interruptions
• Track the lifecycle of data acquisition agreements (NDAs, Data License Agreements, Order Forms, and Amendments) from initiation through execution
• Audit and log specific contractual parameters into central tracking systems:
• Permitted use cases, restrictions, and redistribution rights
• Renewal dates, notice periods, and termination conditions
• Data retention schedules and purge/deletion mandates
• Log and verify Provider Data Sheets, Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and security questionnaires prior to feed activation
• Maintain the central Data Acquisition Salesforce, capturing provider status, feed types, renewal cadences, and key operational contacts
• Monitor vendor performance metrics against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including delivery timeliness and data quality standards
• Reconcile vendor usage, data volume metrics, and invoice details with procurement and finance to ensure accurate billing against contract caps

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years in data acquisition, vendor management, data governance, or product support roles within a data-driven organization
• Data Expertise: Hands‑on experience or working familiarity with data products, licensing models, and identity/data integration solutions
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating data structures, APIs, and file delivery methods (SFTP, cloud storage, direct feeds)
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex licensing agreements, contract terms, and usage metrics
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate data availability, licensing constraints, and business impacts to non-technical stakeholders
