Job summary

LINX is seeking a Field Technician to support DAS installations and construction projects in the Denver area. You will arrive on site with the required tools and PPE, perform cable runs and equipment installs, and ensure safety and quality on each task.

Travel to client sites will be frequent (75-100%) and you will work under Foreman direction to meet milestones. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and professional interaction with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• 6 months of low voltage experience.
• Proficient with Office 365 and common tools.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken).
• Experience with coax prep tools and RJ45 crimpers preferred.
• Basic hand and power tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Install cable pathways and terminate coax cables; connect with proper connectors.
• Terminate Cat cable and perform continuity testing.
• Install wall/rack equipment and dress cables neatly.
• Dress cabling and build splitter trees; perform roof work.
• Conduct cable sweep testing and interpret results.
• Perform PIM testing and interpret results.
• Interface professionally with external contacts and report status.
• Implement design changes from Engineering and arrive on site prepared.
• Maintain clean work areas and track tools and materials.
