Job summary

Ontivity, LLC is seeking a DAS Technician to support DAS/Small Cell installations, site construction, and maintenance, while following safety and quality guidelines. You will interpret project documents and troubleshoot RF and fiber issues in a field-based role requiring frequent travel.

This is a full-time position with typical hours Monday–Friday and overtime; a high school diploma or GED is required, and RF/telecom certifications are preferred. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret drawings, specs, and project docs.
• Experience with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and power meters.
• Familiar with LTE, 5G and Wi‑Fi wireless standards.
• Able to obtain or already have a scissor lift certification.
• Able to read drawings and piping diagrams, job specifications, and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safety First – always put safety before production.
• Install DAS equipment, antennas, coax, and couplers at indoor and outdoor sites.
• Interpret blueprints and project documents, and ensure quality requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot RF and fiber line issues and conduct line sweeps and PIM testing.
• Maintain project timeline and report job status daily.
• Take and tag photos and ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
