Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a DART member focused on program management and development for humanitarian deployments in the United States and internationally. You will help deliver services such as water, food, shelter, NFI, and medical care to disaster-affected populations, under on-call deployment terms.

Responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing programs, monitoring performance, reporting, and ensuring compliance with organization standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and witness.
• Willing to deploy 3–4 weeks, up to two times per year on short notice.
• Able to perform essential duties in fast-paced, high-stress deployments.
• Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French preferred.

Overview

Support Savant's Purse as a DART member, applying program management skills in humanitarian settings to deliver essential services—clean water, food, shelter, non-food items, and medical care—to disaster-affected populations.

Responsibilities

Working under the Team Leader, DART members plan, design, and implement disaster response programs. Key duties include:

• Conducting emergency assessments and developing program strategies.
• Overseeing implementation of WASH, food assistance, shelter, NFI distribution, and healthcare activities.
• Monitoring and evaluating program performance, preparing reports, and managing grant and financial functions.
• Maintaining compliance with Samarat's Purse standards and humanitarian protocols.
• Collaborating within a cross‑cultural team and adjusting rapidly to changing conditions.

How Serving on the DART Roster Works

DART members are on‑call employees. Pay and travel expenses are activated only when a deployment is authorized, allowing members to maintain outside careers while being mobilized for emergency missions.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Maintain a personal relationship with and consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Be comfortable performing essential duties in fast‑paced environments (up to seven days per week during deployment).
• Be able to commit to deployments of 3–4 weeks, up to two times per year, on short notice.

Education and Experience

• Preferred: 2–5 years of proven work experience in a relevant field.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college/university or equivalent technical training.
• Preferred: Demonstrated travel, volunteer, or work experience in developing countries.
• Willingness to work in unstable or insecure areas.
