JOB DESCRIPTION:Dancewave seeks Teaching Artists focusing on Kpop Dance Styles for grades K-12, adults, and older adults. (Experience working with Students with Disabilities is a plus, but not required). The right candidate will be experienced teaching in a public school setting, highly organized, and have strong classroom management skills. This is an exciting and rewarding position for a dancer who wants to make a direct impact in local communities and continue growing their teaching practice and skills.

ABOUT Dancewave Community Programs:Dancewave brings high-quality arts education residencies based on NYC standards and holistic practices. Through the Dancewave Community Programs model, we offer New York City schools and community centers in all five boroughs the opportunity to craft an arts-in-education program customized to meet the specific needs of their curriculum and students’ abilities.

Our in-school residencies encompass a variety of dance genres and are offered both within school hours and/or during after-school programs.
