Job summary

Insomniac, a Live Nation Entertainment company, is seeking a motivated PR/Communications intern in Calabasas to draft press materials and support media relations for our dance‑music events.

You will monitor press coverage, assemble daily clips, manage press emails, and coordinate with external agencies, while staying engaged with our social channels. Must be a current student, 18+, and able to work 18–29 hours weekly in‑office 2–3 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school.
• Preferred: PR/Communications, English, or entertainment majors, junior year or higher.
• Previous internship/work in PR is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for fast-paced work.
• Proficiency with Google Drive is highly valued.
• Able to work 2–3 days/week in Calabasas, CA office (6+ hours/day).
• Typically 18–29 hours per week.
• Solid understanding of major social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).

Responsibilities

• Draft press releases, media pitches, and other materials for media and internal stakeholders.
• Assist media relations with media lists, quotes, and talking points.
• Monitor Insomniac press coverage and compile a daily report for PR team.
• Attend department meetings and conference calls.
• Manage [e-mail] emails and media requests.
• Coordinate with external agencies on schedules and assets.
• Pull photo selects after concerts and branded shows.
• Support internal research and pitch deck data gathering.
• Project-manage short-term assignments as requested.
