Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Dance Instructor located in West Chester, PA. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for conducting dance classes, providing dance education, teaching choreography and preparing students for the annual recital, and incorporating music into dance instruction.

Qualifications

• Dance Instruction and Teaching skills in one or more of the following areas: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Preschool, acro-dance, strength and flexibility
• Dance Education knowledge
• Experience in choreographing dance routines using the dancers varied skills well
• Proficiency in various dance styles
• Music background or understanding of music in dance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience and comfort working with various backgrounds, ages and levels
• Three year's previous dance teaching experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field is a plus
