Job summary

University of Hartford’s Hartt Community Division seeks an administrative leader to oversee outreach dance programs, including year-round activities and performances. This 10-month role supports the Hartt School mission and student education through coordination of staff, budgets, and community partnerships.

The position requires fostering relations with satellite sites, pursuing grants, co-producing productions, and ensuring data-driven program management and marketing collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the administration, staffing, supervision and teaching for HCD outreach programs and staff to meet the mission of the HCD and The Hartt School.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with satellite school/outreach coordinators in schools and community organizations.
• Pursues grant opportunities and builds new community relationships.
• Collaborates with the Director of Dance Programs and Hartt School leadership on program development and budgets.
• Co-produces Harttworks productions and coordinates other academic year and summer dance productions.
• Develops and reviews outreach program budgets in consultation with senior leadership and finance.
• Manages outreach programs within an approved balanced budget and handles sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Collaborates on policies, procedures, and written communications; supports data management and marketing efforts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
