Dance Connection in Bay Shore, NY, is seeking an Assistant Dance Teacher for the September 2025–June 2026 season to support Terrific Twos (ages 2), Preschool (ages 3–4), and Combo (ages 5–7) classes. The role involves assisting the lead teacher and fostering a positive learning environment for young dancers at our Bay Shore location.

The candidate will help with class preparation, supervise students, and maintain a professional, engaging classroom.

Qualifications

• Prior dance training and experience.
• Experience teaching and supervising children ages 2–7.
• Experience as an assistant teacher or dance teacher is a plus.
• Professional, organized, proactive, and friendly attitude.
• Ability to use the internet and email.
• Candidate must hold a high school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist the main teacher in Terrific Twos, Preschool & Combo classes.
• Support learning and classroom management for ages 2–7.
• Coordinate with scheduling and classroom preparation as needed.
