Job summary

Family Smiles LLC is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists in daily chairside work, operate radiology equipment, and maintain sterile operatories. You will assist in explaining treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers full-time hours with rotating Saturdays, and employees receive medical/vision coverage, PTO, and retirement plan options. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• License as Dental Assistant with state board is required.
• Certified radiology license (DANB) required or in progress with 90-day certification timeline.
• Full-time availability with rotating Saturdays preferred.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Dental Assistants are a very key and integral part to dental healthcare operations and success. Pay: $20-26/hr DOE.

Clinic Hours: M-F 10am-6pm, Sat 9am-2pm.

Your Impact

Day to Day Operations

• Provide chairside assistance for Dentists.
• Operate oral radiology equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of all tools and operatories.

Patient Service and Engagement

• Assist in explaining treatment plans to patients.
• Attentively address concerns patients may have regarding treatment plans.
• Provide engaging patient service by acknowledging their questions or concerns.
• Ensure quality service is always provided.

Qualifications:

• State Board issued Dental Assistant or Radiology Certified license
• Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety Certification
• Full-time availability preferred (Rotating Saturdays)

Candidates who are in progress of obtaining their DANB certification are also welcome to apply as an OJT, provided you are able to receive certification within 90 days of hire!
