Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Liability Representative and Damage Prevention Investigator to investigate dig-ins and determine fault under the Illinois Underground Damage Prevention Act. You will work with claims teams, contractors and customers to protect utility assets and reduce incidents.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in underground locating or related claims work, travel, and flexibility. You may testify in court and lead training efforts, with opportunities to participate in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 2-4 years' experience or 3-6 years in related roles.
• Extensive automobile travel and flexible work hours will be required.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Access, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Document damages and assist claims in collecting for damages.
• Intervene with locating/contractors to prevent further damage.
• Investigate injuries and property damage and determine fault.
• Testify in court proceedings on behalf of the company.
• Lead training and coordinate safety initiatives.
