Job summary

WSB is seeking a Field Audit professional to perform comprehensive gas line locate audits and ensure accuracy to client specifications. You will review markings, equipment, and documentation while enforcing state one-call laws and internal standards.

The role requires stakeholder collaboration and detailed reporting in a field-heavy environment. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in utility locating or damage prevention, and familiarity with CFR 192.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in utility locating, damage prevention, gas distribution or related field.
• 5–7 years in construction, excavation, site safety, and damage prevention.
• Familiarity with CFR 192 regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive field audits of gas line locates for accuracy and client standards.
• Review locate marks, equipment use, and documentation for compliance.
• Identify missing or incorrect markings and initiate corrective action.
• Validate map accuracy and facility depth using locating tools.
• Monitor safety standards and document compliance and findings.
• Prepare accurate audit reports with photos and documentation.
