Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking an OQ Certified Damage Prevention Technician to support gas line audits and safety checks across the United States. The role emphasizes compliance, data collection, and customer-facing interactions in outdoor environments.

The position requires a high level of physical activity, valid driver's license, and 1 year of line locate experience. Travel to job sites and adherence to PPE and safety standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of utility line locate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with Code Rule 753 and promote safe excavation practices.
• Follow strict Utility, State and Federal guidelines relating to damage prevention.
• Wear assigned PPE and company uniform and follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and travel to site locations for audits and data collection.
• Provide timely reports and documentation to management; escalate issues when necessary.
