Responsibilities

• Process construction-related damage claims from initial notification through resolution including insurance claim as per the defined process.
• Evaluate technical aspects of construction damage claims using industry knowledge, internal database and references to process the claims resolution as per budget and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with field personnel for damage verification and assessment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all claim activities and communications for verification, reference and audit.
• Coordinate with vendors and business partners for claim resolution.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout claims process
• Review and interpret construction plans and technical documentation for damage repair and claims.
• Coordinate with construction teams for claim prevention strategies. Give suggestions and inputs for claims prevention based on trends from the repository of damage and claims.
• Maintain detailed records in claims management database.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma with construction related experience required. Associate's degree in construction technology or related field preferred. Construction related certifications beneficial.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in construction operations
• 2+ years of experience in claims processing preferred
• Background in customer service

Exposure

• Understanding of construction practices and terminology
• Knowledge of underground and aerial construction methods
• Experience with claims processing systems
• Understanding of technical documentation requirements
• Factors critical to success at ITG Communications for this position (not more than 3):
• Technical knowledge of construction work for telecom industry
• Excellence in documentation and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills combined with customer service focus
