Job summary

The Eugene Water & Electric Board seeks a Civil, Geotechnical, or Dam Safety Engineer to join EWEB’s Dam Safety team in support of the Owner’s Dam Safety Program. The role involves dam safety, public safety, environmental and regulatory compliance across multiple projects.

You will lead, plan, and coordinate work with internal partners and regulators, perform site inspections and assessments, and contribute to capital project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines.
• Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead dam safety activities and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Perform site inspections, construction observation, and documentation.
• Provide dam safety input to capital projects from planning to construction.
• Plan and manage PFMAs and risk assessments; support advantage decisions.
