Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor Logistics to supervise daily logistics operations and coach staff to meet performance targets.

You will work with the Logistics Manager to align processes with standards and customer expectations, while driving safety and efficiency. The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and collaboration with customers, including handling scheduling, performance reviews, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.
• 0 to one year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer specs.
• Establish work schedules and procedures for optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance with regular team coaching.
• Collaborate with customers on operations and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Lead diversity and inclusion efforts and recognize team successes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective actions when needed.
• Understand labor relations and enforce health, safety, and security initiatives.
