Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP’s Dallas office seeks a Professional Development Manager to lead the ongoing development of lawyers, manage regional and firmwide programs, and collaborate across offices to advance development, engagement, and client service.

Based in Dallas, you will supervise the Professional Development Specialist, guide attorney training and mentoring, ensure CLE compliance, and align learning initiatives with firm strategy while supporting career growth and office operations.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required.
• 5+ years of work experience in learning and development, law, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to format presentations, graphs, charts, and other visuals.
• Ability to work effectively across offices and time zones.
• Travel occasional to other US offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead attorney professional development regionally and firmwide.
• Develop and deliver regional and firmwide training offerings.
• Collaborate with the Director and committees on attorney orientation and lateral integration initiatives; coordinate summer associate training.
• Track and evaluate the quantity and quality of training opportunities; produce reports.
• Create professional development resources and communications as needed.
• Assist with Texas CLE compliance tracking and related regulatory requirements.
