This role requires hands-on leadership, staff supervision, and a proactive approach to challenges. You will oversee dispatch, staffing, and P&L responsibilities, recruit drivers, and ensure policy compliance while coordinating with customers and suppliers to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management in Intermodal/Drayage environments.
• Knowledge of customs and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and AS400.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Solid work ethic and competitive drive.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience delegating tasks and enforcing policy.
• Energetic, competitive, career-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of staff including supervision, clerical, and labor.
• Recruitment of Company drivers.
• Manage dispatch orders and moves to optimize throughput.
• Maintain internal operating policies and procedures.
• Interact with customers daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Accountable for monthly P&L review.
• Prepare various production, quality, timeliness, staffing, billing reports and address discrepancies.
