Job summary

ViaPath Technologies in Dallas, TX is seeking a Network Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of engineers, plan and deliver wired and wireless network solutions, and ensure operational readiness of the enterprise network.

You will develop complex project plans, create SOPs, monitor performance, coordinate with other departments, report to senior management, and mentor staff to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise network design with at least 1 year in leadership/management.
• Experience with enterprise network infrastructure engineering and Fortinet/Ubiquiti/Cisco equipment.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, Spanning Tree, IPAM, DNS, DHCP, ACLs, IPsec VPN, VLANs.
• Experience creating SOPs and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of network engineers and plan, execute, and deliver wired/wireless network solutions.
• Define complex project plans including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and manage SOPs for operations; identify process gaps and remediate.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and inform users of problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for implementations and changes to network infrastructure.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on network installs, upgrades, remediations, and break/fix.
• Foster positive team relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
• Mentor and escalate as needed; manage leadership/administrative tasks (PTO, reviews, calendar, training, budget).
• Drive high-performance culture with disciplined, detailed, and structured team development.
