Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Network Infrastructure Manager to lead our network engineers in planning, deployment, and operations of wired/wireless solutions. This hybrid role is based at the Dallas office and focuses on delivering reliable, scalable network services with strong leadership.

You will define project plans, create SOPs, and report progress to senior management while mentoring staff and driving a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise network design; at least 1 year in leadership.
• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, and Ubiquiti networks.
• Troubleshoot network performance/availability and lead teams.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, Spanning Tree, IPAM/DNS/DHCP, ACLs, IPsec VPN, VLANs.
• Experience creating SOPs and training docs.
• Experience in high-stress support environments.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort presenting to senior leadership and customers.
• Ability to mentor and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of network engineers and deliver wired/wireless solutions.
• Define complex project plans with scope, budget, and schedule.
• Create SOPs and improve processes for operations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and inform users.
• Support network availability and upgrades.
• Collaborate with other teams for implementations and changes.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on installs and remediations.
• Foster positive team relations and ongoing support.
• Mentor team members and serve as escalation point.
• Oversee leadership tasks including PTO, performance reviews, calendar, training, and budget.
• Drive high-performance culture and disciplined team development.
