Twilight Hospice & Palliative Care in Dallas, TX is seeking a Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients in their homes and facility settings. You will manage a caseload with a focus on comfort, symptom management, and compassionate end-of-life support.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, at least one year in hospice or related fields, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently with flexible on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license required and active.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to end-of-life care.
• Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.

Responsabilités

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care, including pain management and symptom control.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on the disease process and end-of-life care.
• Document patient status and care provided in a timely manner.
• Advocate for patient dignity, comfort, and high quality of care.
• Support families emotionally during difficult decisions and transitions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care plans and goals.
• On-call as needed.
