Hunt Oil Company in Dallas, TX is offering a paid Petroleum Engineer Intern position in the Well Construction department. You will work on multiple well construction projects and gain hands-on experience in drilling operations during the summer internship.

The internship includes housing if needed, field visits, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with engineers to support safe and efficient drilling.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree or master’s in petroleum engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must.
• Ability to communicate with field personnel and technical staff.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed reports on drilling activities.
• Participate in field visits to drilling sites.
• Learn and utilize industry software for modeling drilling operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members for smooth drilling operations.
• Assist in budgeting and objectives alignment.
• Design and support safe and efficient well construction projects.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
