Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. is seeking a District Manager for the Dallas area to drive exceptional performance across multiple stores. Lead store managers, coach teams, and execute company programs to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve financial goals.

You will recruit, develop and mentor leaders, manage succession planning, and maintain an inclusive, high-energy work environment that aligns with Carter’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• Retail background with multi-unit experience (5+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred).
• District Manager experience in a specialty retailer (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Store Managers through regular check-ins, ongoing coaching, the annual review process, and business goal setting.
• Build a strong and diverse team; lead talent planning and recruitment strategy; develop succession plans for a bench of talent.
• Inspire, connect, and communicate professionally at all levels; invest, train and coach team members.
• Set clear expectations and provide timely feedback to exceed goals; develop leaders to strengthen performance.
• Embrace change and facilitate action with confidence and positivity; cultivate an inclusive work environment.
• Develop store management to execute company objectives and customer experience at the core.
