Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. DBA CCFS in Dallas, TX seeks a Trailer Technician to diagnose and repair tractor-trailers and perform preventative maintenance on trailers. You will test equipment, repair brakes and electrical systems, and document work while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus training in mechanics/truck repair, and at least 1 year of trailer technician experience. A valid CDL and strong communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Completion of a certificate program or technical training in mechanics and truck repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues on tractor-trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Test equipment and systems for performance.
• Perform repairs to brakes, electrical systems, wheel end service, wall panels, etc.
• Document repairs.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
