Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment. This role includes diagnosing issues, testing systems, and maintaining safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of trailer tech experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. You will work Monday–Friday in a 7am–3:30pm shift with hourly pay depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mechanical training preferred.
• 1+ year as a trailer technician or similar repair role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and ABS brakes.
• Ability to follow safety and DOT regulations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues on tractor-trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Test equipment and systems for performance.
• Repair brakes, electrical systems, wheel ends, and wall panels.
• Document repairs.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with employees and vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
