Aston Carter is seeking a contract-based Data Analyst in Dallas, TX to support accounting and operations teams with data validation, reconciliation, and reporting. You’ll work across SAP, RightAngle, and Excel to ensure data accuracy and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of analytical experience.
• Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Accounting Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Comfortable learning new systems quickly.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and process-focused.
• Experience researching issues and solving problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve accounting and operational data discrepancies
• Analyze information across multiple systems and identify root causes of issues
• Support accounting teams with transaction validation and reconciliation activities
• Learn system workflows and document business processes
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain data accuracy and support ongoing integration efforts related to the Parkland acquisition
• Develop reports and perform data analysis using Excel and other reporting tools
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and IT resources to identify gaps and recommend improvements
