Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounting Analyst for an onsite role in Florham Park, NJ. You will enter and maintain financial data in Dynamics 365, assist with journal entries, and support reconciliations while delivering detailed Excel-based reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. This contract position emphasizes collaboration with financial leadership during a transformation effort.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounting experience with journal entries.
• Experience with reconciliations, including tariff revenue and expenditures.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain financial transactions in Dynamics 365 accurately.
• Prepare and post 4-6 journal entries per month with proper documentation.
• Support account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timely.
• Track tariff revenue/expenditures and raw material usage for reporting.
• Compile data and create analyses in Excel using advanced functions.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Manage vendor invoice documentation and supporting records.
• Provide general bookkeeping and GL activity review.
• Collaborate with Director of Financial Transformation on initiatives.
