Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Dallas, TX is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team. You will analyze client needs, interpret plans, prepare change orders, monitor progress and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• With Associated degree, fifteen years of related experience.
• Experience in CPM scheduling techniques.
• TXDOT experience preferred.
• PE Required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes client needs and assists contractor in interpretation of plans and specifications.
• Prepares change orders and/or supplemental agreements and updates project plans.
• Monitors construction progress and maintains daily records.
• Monitors and records material quantities and construction results.
• Reviews shop drawings, schedules, permits, and progress charts.
• Prepares final estimate package which includes final plans, construction documents and details.
• Detailed calculations of costs and pay items.
• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
• Experience working with TXDOT is preferred.
