Qualifications

• Degree in Elementary Education.
• Experience in Tribal Communities or Dakota Language/Lifeways preferred.
• Background checks and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Enroll in Education Minnesota Native Teacher Pathway to obtain licensure by Fall 2029.
• Begin Teacher Pathway courses and complete field work at Cedar Mountain Elementary.
• Enroll in CWOO Dakota Language Apprenticeship for Dakota Language licensure by Summer 2028.
• Pilot curriculum development for Dakota language K-4 at the Lower Sioux School opening in 2030.
• Collaborate with language mentors to translate curriculum outlines into Dakota.
