Job summary

HouseMart is seeking a full-time Store Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. The role focuses on maximizing sales, maintaining inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in retail or customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate effective decision-making.
• Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally.
• Two or more years of experience in retail and/or customer service oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager
• Maximize productivity to achieve sales
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate expectations to staff
• Ensure products and selling areas are properly received, stocked and merchandised
• Motivate staff and promote team effort to achieve department and store goals
• Ensure store is run in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Monitor and assist in attaining shrinkage goals within industry standards
• Responsible for store opening and closing functions
