Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an experienced warehouse/operator for a 24/7 dairy production environment in Decatur, Alabama. You will safely operate lift trucks and assist with staging batch ingredients, while maintaining strict data entry in SAP and adhering to FIFO and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy preferred.
• Must obtain a lift truck certification, class I-V, including pallet jacks, per OSHA standards.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment including lift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Effective and accurate data entry in the ERP system (SAP).
• Safe loading/unloading of trailers following internal/external requirements.
• Safe handling and storage of materials, ingredients, and chemicals.
• Follow FIFO and inventory controls; stage batch ingredients and materials.
