Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution center shipping and receiving operations. You will move products accurately and safely to retail locations, selecting and palletizing orders for shipment.

The role requires basic computer use, high school education, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should be prepared to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and to maintain clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

High School Education or equivalent is required.
Experience in a distribution environment is preferred.
Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
Ability to use a PC for data entry and research.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Complete shipping/receiving documentation accurately.
Select and palletize groceries, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to stores.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Perform pre-operational checks on equipment per policy.
Maintain clean work area and follow sanitation practices.
Suggest procedural improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
