Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is looking for a Tower Operator to run and maintain cheese towers and related equipment. This role requires strict adherence to procedures, strong attention to food safety, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Experience with SAP and dairy production is a plus. You will support production goals, monitor process controls, and contribute to safe, high-quality cheese products.

Qualifications

• Proficient in understanding, reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic computer literacy required for操作 and monitoring equipment.
• Must be able to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Cheese towers and related equipment per procedures.
• Identify flows from HACCP controls to packaging and complete product transitions.
• Troubleshoot and communicate plant issues affecting safety, food safety, or quality.
• Maintain operation and sanitation of equipment (CIP, COP, and related inspections).
• Record in-process sampling as assigned and communicate problems to management/maintenance.
• Learn and operate computer-based processes and controls.
