Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. in Spencer, WI seeks a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead cheese and cheese powder processing technical services, drive process control improvements, and reduce variation while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage Controls Engineering and Process Engineering teams, prioritize projects, coordinate plant start-ups, partner with Maintenance and R&D, and advance asset performance through standardization and training.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Food/Dairy Manufacturing including 3 years’ technical experience and production leadership or 10 years of experience in Food/Dairy Manufacturing with 5 years of technical and production leadership in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s degree preferred in dairy/food manufacturing or related field
• Experience with controls systems in Emerson or Rockwell is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Lead/coordinate Controls Engineering and Process Engineering functions and prioritize projects
• Align operations capabilities to business objectives and coordinate plant technical solutions
• Collaborate with Maintenance for training and standardization of electrical and controls
• Drive asset effectiveness through common standards and training
• Partner with R&D on product trials and developments
• Support cost-to-serve initiatives and project tracking
